This is a brief guide to using the GS2/Codebreaker Hybriding codes.

Before I begin let me say that you should NEVER SAVE your game until you have first gone into the garage and viewed the car that you hybrided.

Make sure all codes except the master/enable code, and the hybrid codes that you are adding to your hybrid are TURNED OFF

Using these codes will change the car in your first or second slot, depending on which basecodes you use, so if you don't want to change that car, you should first purchase a car to build on, and save your game with it in the first slot.

There are basically two types of codes, standard part codes ( fixed value ), and adjustable codes. The standard part codes include all vehicle parts, such as base name, engine, body, chassis, suspension, turbo and so on. The adjustable codes would include things like ride height, down force, tire grip, spring rate and car shine etc….

All codes work on the car in the first slot of your garage, unless other wise stated by the code.

Using Standard Part Codes

This is how the code should look to add a Zonda Race car engine to your hybrid.

1C041380_EBDE9DA7
1C041384_77A420AE

To further explain:
1C041380 is the basecode (addy) for engine part one. This tells the cheat device where to put the part code that follows it.
1C041384 is the basecode (addy) for engine part two.

These basecodes are the same no matter what engine you are installing. This is also true of all other basecodes whether fixed or adjustable. A complete list of basecodes
can be found here.

EBDE9DA7 is part code one for the Zonda Race Car engine.
77A420AE is part code two for the Zonda Race car engine.

These part codes are different for each engine, and for every other part as well. All Standard partcodes (fixed value) have two basecodes and two part codes. A complete list of all of the part codes that have been converted to GS2/Codebreaker format so far
can be foumd here.

So to summarize, to install any standard part, you must enter it into your cheat device like this:

Basecode1_Partcode1
Basecode2_Partcode2

You should enter these two lines as one code on your cheat device.

If you are entering an entire list of codes, such as for a complete car you can enter all of them as one code on your cheat device. I have done this and it works, however if the resulting code causes your game to freeze it will be much harder to figure out which line caused the freeze. So I would suggest seperate codes for each part, meaning the 2 lines for a turbo code is one part, and one cheat code, and so on.

And you can only use engine partcodes with engine basecodes, and body partcodes with body basecodes and so on.

Once you have entered your codes, check to make sure you have entered it correctly, then check to make sure your master code, or enable code is on. Boot up the game with the codes on, and if you’ve done it correctly, the new parts will be installed in your hybrid. If when trying to go into your garage your game freezes, there may be a few different reasons. You may have done it incorrectly, so check it again. The partcode may have been converted incorrectly, we do make mistakes ocassionally. Sometimes certain parts just won’t work on certain cars.

It is unclear as to how many codes you can put on at one time. I have put on as many as sixteen at once.

Using Adjustable Part Codes

The following set of codes will set your downforce to 250.

1C041274_1456E70F
1C041278_1456E70F

To further explain,

1C041274 is the basecode for front downforce.
1C041278 is the basecode for rear downforce.

Again these basecodes will be the same no matter what amount of downforce you wish to have.

1456E70F is equal to 250. In the same link as the basecodes, there is a list of values to be used with the adjustable codes. Let me also mention that you don’t have to use the same value for front and rear downforce. You will notice that unlike the part codes, there is only one code for each adjustable part. Although I have two listed above, you can enter front or rear downforce by themselves if you want to.
All of the adjustable basecodes are listed in the same link as the standard basecodes.

Also if you click the link in my signature below, there are more parts listed such as complete cars, members hybrids and body swap codes.

Good luck, and Happy Hybriding.
